Kaden is a two-sport athlete whose primary path is lacrosse - a top-50 nationally ranked player in the 2029 class, developed through Resolute Ohio Black, Ohio's premiere statewide travel program, and Project Midwest Black, a premiere midwest national team. He earned Second Team All-Ohio honors as a midfielder in his freshman season and is coming off a Division II state championship appearance, continuing to add speed, size and instincts each year. In the fall, he doubles as a three-way football weapon: receiver, cornerback and special teams, part of a program that won a state championship the same year he joined it as a freshman. A 3.2 GPA and track record across two demanding sports point to the kind of discipline that translates well off the field, too.
Kaden was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and moved to Columbus, Ohio with his family in 2018 when his father took a position as a strength and conditioning coach for Ohio State's athletic department, helping lead a Big Ten Championship team during his time there. His father's own family owns and operates a farm in central Pennsylvania, and the work ethic from that family tradition influenced Kaden's early years. His mother's family is from the Dominican Republic, with Taino roots; she was the first in her family born in the United States - heritage both brothers carry with real pride.
Kaden grew up playing a mix of sports before gravitating toward lacrosse and football in Columbus, he found both at a high level; Resolute Lacrosse, the state's premier lacrosse club, and a football program coached in part by former Ohio State standouts Greg and Steve Bellisari, who each went on to play in the NFL.
Wears #5. Plays midfield for Resolute Ohio Black, the top state-level roster in the Resolute Lacrosse system, competing against elite travel competition across the region and country. Ranked top 50 nationally in the 2029 class.
